گرامر زمان گذشته کامل استمراری در انگلیسی

زمان گذشته کامل استمراری (Past Perfect Continuous) در انگلیسی برای بیان مدت زمانی استفاده می‌شود که یک فعالیت یا وقایع در گذشته شروع شده، تا یک زمان خاص ادامه یافته، و در نهایت به اتمام رسیده است. این زمان به کار می‌رود تا تأکید بیشتری بر مدت زمان یک فعالیت در گذشته قرار دهد. 

### ساختار زمان گذشته کامل استمراری:

#### Positive (سوالی):
\[Subject + had been + present participle + rest of the sentence\]

**مثال:**
- *By the time I arrived, they had been waiting for two hours.* (تا زمانی که من رسیدم، آنها دو ساعت است که منتظر بودند.)

#### Negative:
\[Subject + had not (hadn't) been + present participle + rest of the sentence\]

**مثال:**
- *She hadn't been studying for long when the phone rang.* (او مدت زیادی نبود که تلفن زنگ زد.)

 Question:
\[Had + subject + been + present participle + rest of the sentence?\]

**مثال:**
- *Had you been working here for a year before you got promoted?* (آیا قبل از ارتقا، یک سال است که در اینجا کار می‌کردید؟)

 نکات توضیحی:

1. **استفاده از "had":**
   - این زمان از "had" به عنوان فعل کمکی استفاده می‌کند.

2. **ساختار فعل:**
   - از "had been" به عنوان فعل کمکی استفاده می‌شود و به همراه "been" و حال استمراری (present participle) فعل اصلی می‌آید.

نمونه‌های دیگر:

- *She realized she had been talking on the phone for an hour.*
- *By the time the ambulance arrived, the patient had been waiting for half an hour.*
- *Had they been traveling for a long time before they reached the destination?*
- *He hadn't been practicing the piano for very long when the concert started.*
